Wonderful location, excellent parking, easy to find, nice breakfast, nice staff. Beautiful building. Love the garden space outside and quiet feel despite being in the old town center. Staff went above when we had a special request for breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.

The place was amazing. It was an older building with character. They also had a friendly cat that was precious. I also liked that they had fresh lemonade free for guests and when I arrived they welcomed me with my name on a board. That was a nice touch!

The property was absolutely gorgeous and the use of antique furniture throughout made it feel like I had time-traveled to the past (with all the modern conveniences like a bathroom with a nice shower or reliable WiFi.) Even though the beds and other furniture were older, they were still comfortable and I didn’t feel like form was put over function here. I also liked the free coffee, tea, and homemade lemonade, as well as the included breakfast (a fixed plate of cold cuts, cheese, and vegetables with bread, jam, and butter.) Nothing too extravagant but I felt that the price per night justifies the simplicity in amenities. At the same time, the hospitality was wonderful, especially being welcomed with lemonade in the garden and a brief overview of recommendations while in town.

The greatest hostel ever, it is much more of a Boutique Hotel. Crisp white linens, individual beds, private bathrooms, a beautiful outdoor kitchen, fresh squeezed lemonade, and superb location in old town. The staff is sweet and generous with advice, the breakfast is delicious, and the hostel itself is a gorgeous, old world mansion. My highest recommendation, I will definitely stay here every time I’m in Plovdiv.

This is still the best possible hostel in Plovdiv - superb location, authentic atmosphere, cozy backyard with 1 free drink per night, plus cheap beer available anytime. The hostel is full, it's easy to socialize, and one of the receptionists is dangerously beautiful and kind!

This is just an amazing place, a historical building, you feel almost like sleeping in an old castle. I appreciated the single beds (no bunk beds), huge lockers! Beautiful living room and a yard with chairs and tables - perfect for hot days - and free coffee, tea, lemonade. There is a kitchen, where you could cook, just it's not that nice and there is some problem with the sinks. The fridge is very small. It seems to me that they like to accomodate bigger foreign groups of almost teenagers, and that slightly destroys the true hostel atmosphere. Luckily the groups were mostly quiet 🙂 The breakfast for 5 leva is quite ok - it's served, one plate - buffet style would be much better.
